Dance Robot Dance

So we lied... We know we said we were covering Discovery this week but scheduling insanity forced a quick change of plans. Instead Marc and Tim detour quickly back to 1965 (or 2254) and check in on the original version of everyones new favorite Star Trek captain, Christopher Pike. We take in the original Star Trek pilot as well as enjoy a rose tinted jaunt through the conclusion of his story in The Menagerie (gotta get that Shatner in where we can.) Join us for some deep dive (and surprisingly upbeat) Trek this week.

We finally made it. The year long wait since Infinity war is over. Thanos has won and now we get to see the denouement of 22 movies. Join Marc, Tim and Paul this week where we forgo our usual nonsense and spend the entire episode pouring over Marvel Studios' Super-Hero Magnum Opus, Avengers Endgame. Spoilers abound, so go see the movie first!

With Endgame on the horizon (finally…) the DRD crew take a quick breather this week to chat music. Paul leads the guys through a little news before we play Top 5s and still find the wherewithal to complain about making those lists. We’re a talented group I tell ya.

I mean, we kind of had to, didn't we? The boys get together to discuss the mountain of news coming out of Star Wars Celebration and Disney's announcements. We then turn our sights on DC Comics' newest cinematic entry, Captain Mar- um...  SHAZAM! (I will never not call him Captain Marvel.) It gets heated and then weird, and then both. Just what you'd expect.

I’ll take “What’s more interesting than a Shazam review?” for $1000 Alex?We have a guest this week! Jeopardy! champion Steven Grade (@ask_steven) joins the DRD crew this week to share his experiences on his 6 day stint on Jeopardy! We talk clickers and study methods on this informative walk through Steven’s winning run.

On another news packed week the DRD crew get together to tangent to their hearts content before Marc's worst nightmare finally comes to fruition, much to Tim and Paul's delight. Join the guys for an entire episode dedicated to Disney Princesses where Paul guides us on a look at Sleeping Beauty, the Little Mermaid and Tangled. Is it possible for the guys to talk about this and not be their usual repulsive selves? (lol) Is Marc in love with that horse? (Maximus for President!) Is there still a podcast when it all wraps up? You'll have to listen to find out.

We're back this week with a mountain of news, a boatload of tangents and a multiverse of weird asides. The boys deal with the reality of the Disney/Fox merger, Google's foray into video games and a bunch of Pokemon stuff this week. We then go full book club and review Warren Ellis and John Cassaday's Planetary. It's a Strange World. Let's keep it that way.

In what may be the tangent-iest episode in a while the DRD boys get together to pour over Avengers trailers and Star Trek remasters before catching Paul up on his favourite albums list. We're a little crazy this week, come find out why.

The hype starts here. The boys assemble to cover the glut of news we missed last week and discuss the finer points of VIP meet and greets and Disney back stage antics. We then transition to reviewing the latest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel. Do we survive the nostalgia trip to the much grungier 90s? Listen to find out!

In a last minute attempt at not leaving you, gentle listeners, with none of our nonsense to listen to this week while Tim is Disneying it up and Paul has disappeared into the winds Marc & Tim watched DC Animated's Death of Superman / Reign of the Supermen double feature and spent an hour discussing it. Tim is unhappy this week, come find out why.

It only took 2 years for him to do but Tim finally made it to the end of Breath of the Wild. Marc and Tim are joined this week by Tim's wife, and Zelda expert, Alicia to get into the nitty gritty of each of our play throughs of Nintendo's most recent Zelda opus. Things get heated and very Dance Robot Dance (we need help please send it)

Having lost their only female host the guys are late with Valentines wishes this year but Paul takes the reigns this week to lead Tim and Marc on a discussion of rom coms and why we love, hate and love to hate an entire genre.

The boys are back this week as Marc and Tim are joined by Paul to triple team the weeks news, share some really gross poop stories (we miss you Kristi) and review Marvel and Netflix's Punisher. We high level season 1 before getting into the nitty gritty hyper violence of this years offering. Join us to hear what we thought!

SNOOCHIE BOOCHIES! Change is in the air as we announce some big happenings on DRD this week. Tim & Marc are joined by Paul to make those announcements before doing what we do best. The boys cover DC news, Dune casting and more before finally getting into Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse with the original Jersey Trilogy, Clerk, Mallrats and Chasing Amy.Salsa shark! With the regular crew scattered to the winds this week Marc enlists his brother and Side A Side B cohost Paul to give you all kinds of hot takes on the weeks nerdy news. We discuss recent hot video game releases (Go play Resident Evil 2 remake now), TV premieres and Oscar nominations before the brothers get into some of their favourite cover songs.

With Kristi off and away entertaining the masses again Marc & Tim get together to chat about the massive trailers dropped this week (seriously how good is that Spidey trailer?) and some DC animated talk before diving (natch) into DC and Warner Bros. billion dollar Aquaman. A surprisingly positive review session follow.

With Kristi out sick, Tim and Marc adjust on the fly this week, we tackle news and Fortnite before reviewing Titans.
