I could see the plane on the highway on fire. You had informed us of the stakes as the plane was on fire, and people were dead. You really pulled me into the story. Then you took a hard right to do some housekeeping. Then you went back to Diane and started from the beginning of the story. I'm not sure how to "fix" this. You did a great job with the story as a tease, but almost too good (maybe make the setup shorter?) or just start the interview with Diane at the time of the wreck (instead of the details of the type of plane, and where she lived, etc).
