Rangers beat writer and friend of the pod Alex Plinck (Dallas Sports Fanatic) is back this week. If you had told me back in February that I'd be talking to a Rangers expert in late October, I'd have predicted it would've been the most shocking thing in all of 2020. We were all so innocent in the Before Times. But with the World Series being held in Arlington, Alex had the privilege of attending all six games in person! So in this episode, we do a deep dive into it. The two of us debate over whether it's possible to understand why Justin Turner would celebrate with his teammates after testing positive. We manage to discuss the Rays' Game 6 strategy without Kevin Cash removing either of us halfway through the show. And we celebrate Brett Phillips's unlikely heroics in Game 4 as well as Clayton Kershaw earning a well-deserved champion

After leaving poor Clayton Kershaw for dead on the last episode, the Dodgers ace went all Jason Voorhees on Tampa Bay in the opener. But Wednesday evening, Brandon Lowe's bat finally got as hot as his face and the Rays evened things up. (Seriously, how did I watch the entire postseason and not realize Brandon Lowe is beautiful until he homered twice? My libido is as big a front runner as a Florida baseball fan.)
