Breakdancing is going to be an Olympic sport in the 2024 Summer Games in Paris. Yes, you read that right. And no, apparently breakdancing didn't die with MC Hammer's parachute pants. Athletes will be breakdancing from the Eiffel Tower to the Marais, all looking for Olympic gold, silver and bronze. While it may sound like an odd, nontraditional addition, you might be surprised to hear what some of the events were at the Olympic Games as early as 1900. The ban was whittled down to three months at the start of the pandemic, but now, the FDA is finally undergoing a study to repeal the ban outright.
