The gang starts off with giving our recommendations for the month. We then tackled the pages of message board questions. Some of the highlights include our Spider-related dreams, what classic literature characters are similar to Marvel ones, and who is the better pal to Spidey, Daredevil or the Human Torch. We even work in a Spider-Rap intro.

The gang celebrates Mother's Day by discussing Spider-Talk. JR, Stella and BD review Amazing Spider-Man # 590 and 591. They also discuss Spider-Girl going online and if digital comics are the future. Other topics include re-casting Mary Jane in the movies and our experiences on Free Comic Book Day. For "This month in Spider-History" we go back to May 1993.

The gang tackles a bunch of Spider-Topics this month. We review Amazing Spider-man # 588-590 plus Extra issue #3. We also discuss the firefighter who dressed up as Spidey to save an autistic child. We then tackle the news item of the Mom who wants Spidey pulled from her library. The gang also tries to decipher Steve Ditko's rant about the current Marvel regime. And we go back to April of 1984 for "This Month is Spider-History."

Artist Todd Nauck has been in the news lately for penciling the team up between the Amazing Spider-Man and President Barack Obama. Issue # 583 of Amazing Spider-Man broke all kinds of records. We talk to Todd about that book, how he got the assignment and how quick he had to turn it out. We also discuss his work with Peter David on the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man title.

The Spider-Panel tackles your dozens of message board questions. We tackle Norman Osborn's new role in the Marvel Universe, if our friends know we do a podcast, and of course someone asks a Green Lantern question. I have no idea why! LOL

We wrap our conversation with artist Sal Buscema. In this last half hour we answer your written message board questions. Some of the questions range from Sal's thoughts on Amazing Spider- Girl getting canceled, funny experiences at comic book conventions, and why the Hulk is his favorite character to draw.

We continue our interview of legendary Spider-Man artist Sal Buscema. He's joined by writer Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz as we answer questions live from people around the world. We talk about artistic tips, spider-clones and our favorite female, Spider-Girl!

Our first guest of 2009 is artist Sal Buscema. He just celebrated his 40th year at Marvel Comics. He also holds the record for the longest penciling stint on any Marvel comic. He drew 104 issues straight of the Spectacular Spider-Man title. To honor Sal for this accomplishment we invited a few of his friends along. On the podcast we have Stan Lee, Tom DeFalco, Ron Frenz, Roy Thomas and Danny Fingeroth.
