The always charming Simon Pegg talks to Ali about his new movie, indie drama Lost Transmissions, on this Sunday interview special. Rosamund Pike stars in the new Marie Curie biopic Radioactive, and here she talks to Ali about the fascinating life of the world-changing French-Polish scientist. Somehow Thunderbirds also comes up, as does Gone Girl - which makes a bit more sense to be fair - as well as Pike's recent discovery of the wizarding world of Harry Potter...

Spike Lee is the legendary actor-director-writer-producer behind so many influential and important films, including the likes of Do The Right Thing, Malcolm X and Blackkklansman. His latest, Netflix's Da Five Bloods, is a Vietnam War drama about a group of African-American veterans who return years later to where they buried their squad leader to take his body home... and unearth the gold they hid beside him. Here, Lee talks to Ali about how the project came about and why it's so timely today.

Judd Apatow has directed, produced and/or written more successful comedy films than you've got podcast subscriptions. Possibly, I should say, depends on how much you love listening to podcasts. It wasn't the best comparison to be honest. But anyway! He's the director of Knocked Up, Funny People, Trainwreck and now The King Of Staten Island, a comedy drama partly based on the life of Saturday Night Live veteran Pete Davidson, and he's also our special guest on the podcast today. He talks about how he put together the movie, what makes him laugh these days and even tells Ali a little bit about how he contributed to Happy Gilmore.
