Author Jonathan Maitland is perhaps best known as TV reporter but he's also just written his fifth book called “How To Survive Your Mother” – a true story about his relationship with his late and very unusual mother, a woman who opened a gay hotel in deepest Surrey commuter belt back in the 70s.
