About 62% of American adults experience some sort of problem a few nights a week and 30% suffer from some sort of insomnia in the course of a year. What is causing this? Is it diet? Lifestyle? Genetics? Age? Stress? How do we fix it? To help answer these questions Pedram Shojai welcomes board-certified sleep specialist Dr. Raj Dasgupta to the show. Dr. Dasgupta helps to explain what sleep apnea is and how that differs from generic snoring and the sort of harm apnea does on the body.
