Collective Voices continues to be on the cutting edge of the art form that is poetry in the District, Maryland, Virginia (DMV).  Collective Voices is an ensemble of poets consisting of J. Joy Alford (Sistah Joy), Sylvia Dianne Beverly (Ladi Di) and Andre Taylor (Brenardo). Each member is a native of Washington, DC and each has been a member of Poets In Progress (PIP), under the leadership of The Poet Laureate of the District of Columbia, Dolores Kendrick, reading at Folger's Shakespeare Library.
