The "King of Soccer" and the only player to have won three FIFA World Cup titles, in 1958, 1962, and 1970. Pelé was born in 1940 and began playing soccer at a young age. He joined the Brazilian national team at just 16 years old and made an immediate impact, scoring two goals in his first World Cup appearance in 1958. He went on to lead Brazil to victory in the tournament, cementing his place as one of the world's premier soccer players.
