Originally posted August 27, 2019. First of all so sorry for my voice during the intro and outro, recorded while sick. I loved talking tennis this week, especially as we begin the US Open the night before the release and Brian Vahaly was a rad guest. During our one hour conversation, which was recorded while his boys slept and he was outside, we speak about his playing days. Part of that conversation includes his junior days, college days at University of Virginia as well as his ATP career. Unfortunately injuries cut his professional time short. He eventually returns to the game and joins the USTA board where this past Thursday created the first official US Open pride event, Love All : An Open Conversation.
