Originally posted October 1, 2019. This week's episode is my talk with NJ Devils and Prudential Center employee Joe Altenau. I first heard about Joe when he wrote an article for Outsports.com where he spoke about his coming out, how the Pulse nightclub shooting affected him and the call with the You Can Play organization gave him hope. This episode we talk about his cross country and track and field career in college at George Washington University. Joe has also been fortunate to work at the 2006 Winter Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics and that helped him get hired on for the New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center.
