As of this recording, the A's are currently in first place. And the A's are currently still playing in Oakland. Which feels like a bigger miracle. Friend of the pod and friend of Outsports Randy Boose is back to talk about what it's like when a good team's terrible ownership decides it's time to flirt with Vegas in order to extort a new stadium out of their current home. Oakland has seen this movie before and it doesn't end well. On the positive side, the A's are doing well on the field--their dilapidated, occasionally sewage filled field. Despite this, Matt Olson and Ramón Laureano are giving it their all to try and get Oakland back to the postseason. And nothing bad ever happens after that, right? Don't answer that.
